Volunteering at Friends of the Family
Mentoring Program
Please consider making an impactful difference in the life of a child by becoming a mentor. If you are a high school student or adult who would like to share your knowledge and friendship with a middle schooler, become a volunteer mentor at Friends of the Family. We provide training and support and match you with a mentee. We ask that mentors commit for an entire academic year to preserve the strength and impact of the mentor-mentee relationship. If you have any questions or would like to become a mentor, please contact José Beltrán, Program Coordinator, at (818) 988-4430 or at joseb@fofca.org.

Families Matter Benefit and Celebration
Volunteers provide an invaluable service to us for our annual fundraising event, the Families Matter Benefit and Celebration. Help is always needed with our silent auction, greeting and ushering guests, stage show assistance, and set-up and break-down of the event. If you would like more information about volunteering , please contact Brenda Hillhouse at (818) 988-4430 or at brenda@fofca.org.
