Job Description:
Friends of the Family is accepting exceptional resumes for a Program Coordinator position. Successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, delivery and implementation of a strengths-based, family supportive case navigation program and for the oversight and supervision of six Case Navigator/Family Development Coaches who provide life skills coaching and connection to resources for children, youth, adults, and families. In addition, responsibilities include developing psycho/social/environmental assessments, identifying family asset-building programs, recommending connections to resources and interfacing with LAC DCFS.

Hours/Salary:
F/T; 40 hours/week (Monday – Friday; will require some evenings and intermittent weekends)

The contract objective is to provide a comprehensive, integrated continuum of strength based, family-centered and community oriented resources supporting children and families. Contract Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of contract components in order to ensure outstanding program delivery and implementation.

Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) – Evaluation Database Consultant

Job Description:
FOF is seeking a knowledgeable, creative and unflappable individual to provide consulting services focused on maximizing/optimizing the agency’s Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) evaluation software. The optimum candidate will work collaboratively with staff to re-configure and build out the ETO data tracking system so that it produces better and more meaningful information than is currently the case. The Evaluation Database consultant will conduct a review of the existing data systems currently in place and will identify barriers/problems with software and make recommendations and reconfigure software as needed. S/he will work in collaboration with the organization’s staff to determine the data necessary to measure outcomes critical to the agency.

Hours/Salary:
Part Time Consultant Position

Start Date:
Immediately/Approximately 150 hours over a 15-20 week period

Home Visitor/Parent Educator

Job Description:
Friends of the Family is seeking an outstanding human service practitioner to work as a Home Visitor/Parent Educator providing a variety of services in our Parents as Teachers Program (PAT Program). Successful candidate will work closely with a supervisor and as part of a team totaling six home visitor/parent educators to strengthen parent/child connections within families, increase parent knowledge of and capacity to facilitate healthy child development, and connect local families to community resources and groups. In addition, the Home Visitor/Parent Educator will be charged with providing home based case management services for PAT Program families to include in-home education, life skills counseling and support that will ensure safe and stable homes and well-prepared preschool and kindergarten children. Extensive training will be provided.

Hours:
FULL TIME; position may require evening and/or weekends
